Posting Crime Online

For those who think I have an issue with kids now posting their numerous pranks and petty crimes on YouTube, I really don't. I have an issue with kids committing these crimes in the first place. What gets me laughing is the fact that kids are dumb enough to believe that they can post this stuff online to the masses and think no one will notice. As if the phrase "World Wide Web" doesn't seem to click somehow...

As a decent and respectable person, I do have some common sense. For example, I do run through my comments with immaculate detail, being wary not to irritate the wrong people. And by wrong people, I mean DUMB PEOPLE. I'm kidding, of course, but not really. But mostly I am...not kidding. If people don't like what I'm writing, they don't need to read it. Now if you were forced to read it, I would feel sorry and pray your death would be as painless and quick as possible.

But back to my point, which is parents should be thanking their lucky stars their kids are documenting their crimes online and posting them online for many potential cyber-witnesses. If these kids were smarter, they wouldn't even have evidence to begin with. How do you explain your innoncence when it's obvious you did something illegal that was watched by 20,000 people online? Imagine the response if those kids involved in the Columbine shooting were posting their whacked-out manifesto online.
I suppose we all should be thankful our education system has gone to crap. A smarter criminal would know better.

The following was the view and opinion of the author and does not reflect the views or opinions of the host of this blog. And he cannot post any crime he has committed due to the fact he does not have a video camera. Boo hoo hoo.
